salma ibrahim is a syrian professor of arabic language and literature at the sichuan international studies university since 2008. during her career in china, apart from cultivating students, salma also co-authored several arabic textbooks with other professors. she wishes that her students can act as a bridge between chinese and arabic culture. "i hope that china will always be vigorous and become a beacon of the world," said salma ibrahim.
