for his fourth destination, max silk came to sanya. instead of going to the attractive beaches he loves, max chose binglang valley, a beautiful tribe hidden in hainan’s ancient rainforests showcasing the cultural heritage and handicrafts of the earliest inhabitants of hainan island – the li and miao ethnic minorities which migrated here around 2,000 years ago. dressed in traditional embroidery garments, max joined the grand party of locals – singing folk songs, dancing between bamboo sticks, drinking off home-brewed shanlan rice wine…come and join max to take a glimpse into the interesting life of this region’s first settlers!
